Akita Prefecture is a region with one of the highest snowfalls in the world.

COURSE DETAILS:

  • Japanese lessons from Monday to Friday, 9AM - 12:30PM

  • Learn Japanese in an authentic Japanese classroom

  • The course is focused on learning practical conversational Japanese to help prepare you for real life situations

  • Organised activities/events after classes and on some weekends, for students to practice what they have learned in class in real life

  • Many opportunities to immerse in the culture and
    to interact with the locals

PRICE:

For the 3 week course:
$3600 USD
(Not including flights, airport transport, accommodation).
(Includes classes,
5 activities/week,
bento lunch on weekdays,
daily rides,
winter heating cost).

ACCOMMODATION:

Japanese sharehouse (limited availability)

  • $270 USD/per week single room (limited availability)

All sharehouses have a shared kitchen, lounge, and bathrooms.
Laundry machines, dryers are provided free of charge.

Only a 10 minute drive or a 25 minute bike ride to the school.

You can experience living in a Japanese style home with either tatami mats and futon (+very comfortable cushion),
or wooden floor and western style bed.

  • Hotels may also be arranged (depending on availability). Average price 6000 Yen per night.
